NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY PLANNED FOR KIDS: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, will hold a "Noon" Year's Eve Party at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. FARM MARKET TO CONCLUDE YEAR: A Northside Farmers' Market will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Unitarian Universalist Church, corner of Elm and Illinois streets, in Youngstown. There will be items from local farmers available. There will be no farmers' markets in January. The markets will return in February.
4-H CAMP SEEKS COUNSELORS: The 4-H Camp is looking for male and female camp counselors ages 14 and older. Serving as camp counselors involves working with youths ages 8 to 13 for an entire week. Counselors will be required to do presentations in their school to recruit campers. An orientation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at OSU Extension Office, 520 W. Main St., in Cortland. INTENSIVE CLASS FOR THE NEW YEAR: Calvary Bible Church, 2878 Warren Meadville Road, will offer a two-day seminar about what God's word teaches about living a life filled with the Holy Spirit. The class will take a careful biblical approach to identifying the person of the Holy Spirit and discuss the role in people's lives.
