Thu., 9:12am: Peace Prize nominee to speak locally

LIBERTY -- The Arab American Community Center, The Emerging Church and The Coalition for Peace in the Middle East will host 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Dr. Jeff Halper, a Jewish-American-Israeli anthropologist, for a series of speaking engagements beginning Friday.

Halper's "Human Rights and our role in bringing peace to Palestine/Israel" speeches will be held at the following places and times:

-- 11 a.m. to noon Friday -- WKBN radio Dan Rivers Show

-- 8 p.m. Saturday -- Arab American Community Center, 15 Belgrade Ave, Liberty

-- 4 p.m. Sunday -- First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Avenue

-- 4 p.m. Monday -- The Presidential Suite at YSU's Kilcawley Student Center.
