Fri 4:30pm: Police asking for public's help in solving string of robberies

YOUNGSTOWN -- City police are asking the public for help in solving four recent aggravated robberies on Market Street and Midlothian Blvd.

Police said in each incident two light skinned males, possibly teenagers or young adults, walked into the businesses brandishing handguns. They then took money from the cash registers.

The robberies occurred at 8:31 a.m. Sept. 30 at Burger King, 15 W. Midlothian Blvd., 1:45 p.m. Oct. 8 at Family Dollar, 2224 Market St., at 2:56 p.m. Oct. 12 at Taco Bell, 3726 Market St. and 4:06 p.m. Thursday at Subway, 830 E. Midlothian Blvd.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Youngstown Police Department at 330-747-7911 or Crime Stoppers at 330-746-CLUE.

A cash reward may be available for information leading to the arrest of the individuals involved.
