FASHION FUNDRAISER: McDonald High School will host a Homecoming Fashion Show featuring dresses from David's Bridal in Niles at 7 p.m. Thursday at the high school. High school students will be modeling the dresses. Proceeds will benefit the junior class and Oakley's Heart, a local charity that raises money to help dogs with heartworm.

CRIME SPEAKER: Cleveland author and organized crime historian Allan R. May will talk about his new book, "Crimetown U.S.A.: The History of the Mahoning Valley Mafia," at 6:30 p.m. today at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave., Warren. The book is a narrative of organized crime activity in Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley from 1933 to 1963.
