OSTOMY GROUP TO MEET: The Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group, sponsored by Humility of Mary Health Partners, will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 9 at HM Home Care, 979 Tibbetts-Wick Road, Girard.
The Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group meets monthly at alternating locations in Mahoning and Trumbull counties. AUTISM SOCIETY ANNOUNCES PROGRAM: The Autism Society of Ohio, Mahoning Valley, announces the introduction of Social Connections, a program created to provide opportunities for those on the spectrum to socialize, form friendships and address general issues of interest to them all in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
The program's initial effort will focus on the young adult and adult audience.
ASO-MV will host the two one-hour groups for 18- to 25-year-olds and adults 26 and older starting at 5:30 and 7 p.m. respectively on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Weekend activities also could be scheduled. This activity is appropriate for those verbal men and women with moderate to high-functioning autism. A small membership fee will be assessed to cover the costs of the program.
These groups will be facilitated by Doug Blecher, founder of Autism Personal Coach. Blecher has worked with adults and children diagnosed with ASD for the past 11 years as an in-home therapist.

WARREN OFFERS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: The Warren City Health Department will hold childhood immunization clinics from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. July 1 and 22 at the Warren City Health Department Community Services Building, 418 Main Ave. S.W., Warren.
