NEWTON FALLS HOLDS CAR AND BIKE SHOW: The Newton Falls Fourth of July Festivities committee will hold the 27th annual Weekend Madness with a car show Saturday in the city's downtown. Registration is 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with trophies at 6 p.m. The event will include a Chinese auction, 50-50 raffle and deejay.
On Sunday is a bike show from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a poker ride at 12:15 p.m. The event includes vendors, fields events and a DJ.
BAND TO PERFORM: The Cortland Community Band will hold a band concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Vista of Cortland, 303 N. Mecca St. Those attending can bring a lawn chair.

PIPSQUEAKS AT THE PATIO: A Patio Pipsqueaks program for children ages 3 to 5 will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. Preschoolers will be introduced to the garden with age-appropriate stories, crafts, hands-on gardening, science and observation.
