Jordan Fenton, a senior at Champion High School, won a contest making her a temporary concert promoter.
On Jan. 31, 18-year-old Fenton won the "Fanticipation" contest.
The star of this year's contest is Tim McGraw, and the purpose is to find a fan from each of the cities he is touring to receive a call from McGraw himself. He would then give details about his tour and give away two tickets to his concert.
The 2013 tour is called "Two Lanes of Freedom."
The fanticipation winner's job is to spread the news to other fans in the area about his concert.
Fenton, who claims to be the "biggest Tim McGraw fan," will attend the concert on Friday in Cleveland.
The day after she received a call from McGraw, he was planning to send her two VIP tickets, posters and flyers to hang up, as well as backstage passes to see him at the Blossom Music Center.
Fenton said she entered this contest on Tumblr.com and simply entered her name, phone number and email.
She said with excitement, "Out of all the people in the country I'm surprised my little self from Champion, Ohio, won."
Since Fenton has two VIP and backstage tickets, she said she's going to take her mother Lori Powell.
"My mother is a huge Tim McGraw fan, and she got me started on all his wonderful music, I thought it was only fair!" Fenton said.
