As Edmund Kean once said, "Dying is easy; comedy is hard."
Thankfully, there were no deaths at the Youngstown Comedy Syndicate's All-Teen Comedy night at the end of March at the Funny Farm Comedy Club, located in Mojo's Pub & Grille.
The show, titled "It's Not Your 'Regular Show,'" was hosted by Tim Wolfe and featured the comedy stylings of Tim Neshidol, Lane Kerr, Braxton Stein, Paul Tatar, Mitchell Thompson, Ryan Sullivan and Devin Stambo.
The night's jokes focused on a wide variety of topics, ranging from political satire to innuendos. When asked about what comedy is, Tim Wolfe said, "Comedy is the last form of individual expression. You just have to find the courage to do it."
This courage was displayed by many of the performers who confidently came up onto the stage to entertain the eager crowd. Each had his own reason for performing, and when asked why he does comedy, Tim Wolfe responded, "I just like the fact that I don't have to get up until 6 p.m. and only have to write one sentence to make people laugh."
