POLAND Virginia Marie Valenzisi, 103, died Sunday, March 17, 2013.
She was born April 21, 1909, in Youngstown, the daughter of Salvatore and Carmel Candella Morella, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Patsy Calipare.
Virginia was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

She is survived by three children, Claire Patoray of Youngstown, Carmella "Dolly" Crump of Poland and Frank J. Valenzisi of Boardman; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Valenzisi, four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, Boardman.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
