WARREN - Byron R. "Shorty" Thompson, 41, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, following injuries from an auto accident.
Byron was born Aug. 23, 1971, in Warren, the son of Wayne R. and Retha B. Jackson Thompson.
He was a factory worker with BRT Excursions Co. and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his father, Wayne of Warren, and brothers, Brian R. and Brandon R., both of Howland.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Second Baptist Church Chapel, Warren.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
