KINSMAN GROUP HOSTS BRIDGE PROGRAM: The Kinsman Historical Society will host Len Brown, owner of Beacon Productions in Canton, who will speak on the PBS documentary "Ashtabula Railroad Bridge Disaster" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St. The bridge collapsed in 1876 claiming 97 lives. The event will include the model of the train, Columbus, and its 11 cars on the track. Light refreshments will be served. Prior to the program, the church will host a free dinner at 6 p.m.
PROGRAM ON ANTIQUE SEWING TOOLS: The Howland Library Branch, 9095 E. Market St., will hold a program on antique sewing tools at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Guest speaker is Cynthia Foore, who will speak on the history and a display of antique sewing items. The event is free to the public.
MISSION OFFERS PROGRAMS: The Warren Family Mission is getting ready to move to a new location for 2014. It is offering food, free clothing, GED, after-school, elderly, children's and recovery programs, nutritious meals, holiday meals and assistance for families in crisis. All programs are free and funded by donations. The new building is in need of a new roof and several renovations.
