The engagement and upcoming marriage of Lisa Moffit and Brad Messenger are being announced by the couple's parents.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Buddy Moffit of Cortland. Parents of the groom-elect are Mr. and Mrs. Mark Messenger of Leavittsburg.
Ms. Moffit is a graduate of Lakeview High School. She is employed as a cashier for Speedco in Girard.

Mr. Messenger is a graduate of LaBrae High School and Kent State University. He is employed by Home Savings and Loan in Youngstown as a network administrator.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held April 14, 2013, at Braceville United Methodist Church. Invitations have been issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow at Ciminero's Banquet Centre, in Niles.
