The engagement and upcoming marriage of Mary Anne Parker to Brian Michael Thomas are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Britt Parker Jr. of Edgemoor, S.C.
Parents of the groom-elect are Michael R. and Mary Kopko Thomas of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Champion and Newton Falls, respectively.
Miss Parker is a graduate of Presbyterian College, where she received her bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master of business administration degree from McColl School of Business at Queens University. She is employed as a vice president and business services sales officer for Bank of North Carolina in Charlotte.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Thomas received his bachelor of business administration degree in finance. He is employed as vice president in the Debt Capital Markets group of the Wells Fargo Securities investment bank in Charlotte.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held April 27, 2013, at Ebenezer Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, N.C. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.
