Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Shontz Sr. of Girard celebrated their 60th anniversary with a dinner hosted by their children, Deborah Duer of Vienna, Donald G. (Michele) Shontz Jr. of Miamisburg and Mark D. (Sissy) Shontz Sr. of Lordstown.
Donald and the former Leona Richards were married Dec. 12, 1952, at the Churchill United Metho-dist Church in Liberty Township.
The couple enjoys camping, traveling and gardening.
