WARREN - Carolyn Dansby Warr, 70, of 1225 Tod Ave. S.W., Warren, departed this life at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her residence following complications from an extended illness.
She was born March 7, 1942, in Newcomerstown, the daughter of Osie and Lilian Draper Dansby, coming to the area in 1964 from Akron.
Ms. Warr was employed with Delphi Packard Electric for 26 years before retiring in March 1999. She was previously employed at Warren General Hospital as a ward clerk from 1964 to 1972.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Seven Seventeen Union, and enjoyed baseball (Cleveland Indians) and reading.
She was a 1959 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and attended Jane Adams School of Nursing in Cleveland.
She leaves to mourn one son, Marc Warr of Warren; three grandchildren, Shelelia Wynn of Columbus, Ga., Tenina Williamson of Warren and Tiana Fallins of Canton; four great-grandchildren; an aunt, Ms. Mae Johnson of Warren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ms. Rhoda L. Dansby; and three brothers, Gerald Dansby, Lloyd Dansby and Floyd Dansby.
Funeral services will be held at noon today at the Trinity Baptist Church. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. to noon, at the church. The family will also receive friends at 1225 Tod Ave S.W., Warren, OH 44485.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park
Arrangements were handled by Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
