Gabe Stark of Howland earned a berth in the finals of the State Wrestling Tournament on Friday night with a 6-0 decision over Max Rohskopf of West Holmes.

Stark, a senior with a 42-3 record, wrestles Shelden Struble (52-2) of Bryan High School in the state finals, which start at 5:45 p.m. Saturday at the Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus.

Stark is the third Tiger to earn a spot in the state finals in the past five years (Kyle Leek and Greg Ryan both made it in 2008). The last state champion for Howland was Brad Gintert in 1984.
