HUBBARD - Charles D. Koebel, 67, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at home.
Charles was born Nov. 22, 1945, in Hubbard, the son of George D. and Vivian M. Chittle Koebel.
He retired as a supervisor from General Motors Corp., Lordstown, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hubbard.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include his wife, the former Carolyn J. Varga; his son, Jason W. Koebel of Austintown; his daughter, Laura J. Koebel of Kernersville, N.C.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine Baumgarner and Olive Shepherd, both of Hubbard; and two brothers, George R. Koebel of Austintown and Fred Koebel of Boardman.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
There will be services at noon Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Hubbard. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the church.
Charles will be laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
