Fri. 2:46am UPDATE: Man ID'd in fatal crash

BRACEVILLE - Ohio State Patrol has identified the man who died this morning when his car slammed into the back of a semi truck that had stopped for a school bus picking up students.

Troopers said Dennis R. Baker, 23, of Champion was driving his 2010 Chevrolet Malibu about 6:45 a.m. today on state Route 5 near Warren Ravenna Road when he slammed into the back of the semi truck. He was was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown where he was pronounced dead. Troopers said he was not wearing a seatbelt.

They reported that the driver of the 2001 Mack semi truck, Stephen J. Cary, 22, of Canfield, was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
