The engagement and upcoming marriage of Dana Christen Elias and David Alex Patrick are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, David and Estee Elias of Canfield.
The groom-elect is the son of Gregory Patrick of Austintown and Linda Patrick of Hubbard.
Miss Elias graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a third-grade teacher at Watson Elementary School in Austintown.

Mr. Patrick also graduated summa cum laude from YSU, with a bachelor of science in applied science and will graduate with a doctorate of physical therapy in May.
The couple will be united in marriage during an open wedding ceremony to be held at 2 p.m. June 22, 2013, at St. John Greek Orthodox Church in Boardman. An invitation-only adult reception will be held at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.
