The engagement and upcoming marriage of Rachel Griffin and Sean Hughes are being announced by the couple's parents, Douglas Griffin of Leavittsburg, Cheryl Griffin of Southington, Guy and Lynn Hughes of Newton Falls, and Keith and Valerie Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla.
Miss Griffin is a 2002 graduate of LaBrae High School and attended Kent State University. She is employed as a pediatric nurse at Beaches Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Fla.
Mr. Hughes is a 2001 graduate of LaBrae High School and attended Ohio State University. He is employed as an anesthesia technologist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla.
