The engagement and upcoming marriage of Lauren N. Brown and Michael G. Reese are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Brown of McDonald.
Parents of the groom-elect are Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Reese of Tallmadge.
Miss Brown attended the University of Akron and graduated in May 2011 with a bachelor of science in nursing. She works as a cardiac nurse at Summa Barberton Hospital.

Mr. Reese also attended the University of Akron and graduated in May 2012 with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as an engineer at BGI, LLC.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Sept. 14, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.
