BOARDMAN - James R. Crawford Sr., 87, of North Lima, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.
He was born June 20, 1925, in Greenville, Pa., the son of Oscar Bert and Agitha Augustine Germann Crawford.
He retired from Ohio Fast Freight as a truck driver and served in the Merchant Marine.

He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Niles.
Survivors include his children, Saranna Hack, Andrea Crawford, Kristina Garland and James Crawford Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Colleena, and a granddaughter.
He will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Burial Park.
