WARREN - John Howard Crites, 52, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 7, 1960, in Asthabula County, the son of Everett and Annabell Vanpelt Crites.
He was a self-employed roofer.
Survivors include one sister, Loretta Smith of Grantsville, W.Va.; and two brothers, George and Everett of Stockport.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Tod Avenue United Methodist Church.
Arrangements were handled by Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.
