Jessica L. Hayden and Matthew J. Nuzzi were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 17, 2012, at St. Rose Church in Girard. Officiating at the event was the Rev. Ron Nuzzi, uncle of the groom, and the Rev. John Trimbur.
A reception was held at Avalon at Buhl Park in Hermitage, Pa.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Rita Hayden of Katy, Texas. Parents of the groom are paul and Cathy Nuzzi of Girard.

Ashley Kilar, cousin of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Jennifer Harris, sister of the groom, and Jewel Evans were bridesmaids. McKenna Hayden, sister of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid.
Pat Cetina performed the duties of best man for the groom. Ushers were Michael Harris, brother-in-law of the groom, and Nick Licksai. Cooper Silvestri, cousin ofthe bride, served as the ringbearer.
The new Mrs. Nuzzi is a 2009 graduate of Brookfield High School. She is a licensed state tested nurses aid and is self-employed.
Mr. Nuzzi is a 2006 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and received degrees in 2010 in business and mortuary science, both from Gannon University and the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science. He is employed as a trade embalmer for Columbus Trade and Livery.
Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple reside in Dublin, Ohio.
