YOUNGSTOWN - Humane agents were called after a pot bellied pig was found in an abandoned car on a South Side street about 1:40 p.m. Monday.
Officers were called to the 100 block of West Myrtle Avenue for a report of a car facing the opposite way with heavy front end damage and both air bags deployed.
The pig was in the back seat and stayed in the car as it was towed.
A Mercer County woman who was visiting a friend in the 500 block of West Myrtle Avenue said the car was hers and was stolen.
The pig, Penelope, is her pet, the woman said.
