LAUGHLIN, Nev. - Carol Sue Crane Becker, 74, formerly of the Warren area, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 24, 1938, in West Virginia, the daughter of Donald and Lovie Crane.
Carol graduated from Leavittsburg High School and then from Lorain Community College with a nursing degree. She worked as a nurse for several years before retiring.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Terry (Scott) Mascioli of Cortland and Tracey Batchelder of Warren; a son, Douglas Umpleby of Niles; six grandchildren, Amy Isaacson, Andrew Mascioli, Crystal Sturgeon, Lindsey Batchelder, and Cameron and Connor Umpleby; two great-grandsons, Jack and Cole Issacson; two sisters, Helen November of Newton Falls and Debra Myers of Fort Mill, S.C.; a brother, Donald Crane of Columbiana; and longtime companion Gerald MacDonald of Laughlin, Nev.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, M. Marguerite Zabinski and Maxine Beckner.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Knoll Cemetery Chapel, Hewitt Gifford Road, Warren. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
