Betty Lucille Caroppoli 1930-2012

NEWTON FALLS - Betty Lucille Caroppoli, 82, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 15, 1930, in Warren, the daughter of the late Ashley and Mary Jewell Haines, and lived in Newton Falls her entire life.

She married Donald Caroppoli July 22, 1950. They were been blessed with 62 years of marriage.

Betty was a very active member of Newton Falls Church of God, where she belonged to the Golden Agers, was a librarian at the church and headed the audio / visual department. Betty also participated in the church newsletter. She enjoyed quilting and crafts.

Loving memories of Betty will be carried on by her husband, Donald Caroppoli; a daughter, Diana (David) Rutan of Brecksville; and two grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by a sister, Violet Haines, and two brothers, Donnie and Raymond Haines.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at First Church of God in Newton Falls, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Arnold Edmondson officiating.

Betty will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
