BOARDMAN - John W. "Herk" "Herky" Kosola, 78, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.
He was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Youngstown, the son of William Frank and Martha Koch Kosola.
He worked as a Realtor and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four children, Kenneth W. of Arizona, Keith Allen of Wyoming, Karen Kosola of Wellsville and Kristen Govantes of Texas; a brother, David Koch of Washington, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Kirk Kosola and Brian Kyle Kosola, and a sister.
Friends may call from 2 to 3:50 p.m. Saturday at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home in Boardman, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m.
