William and Annabel Meyers of of Brookfield celebrated their 50th anniversary on Nov. 22, 2012.
William Blaine Meyers and the former Annabel "Mossy" Mosbaugher were high school sweethearts from Ederton High School in Pennsylvania, and were married at the Highway Tabernacle in Austintown.
On their 50th celebration, they took a cruise to Jamaica and the Grand Cayman Islands.

Mr. Meyers worked for General Motors in Cleveland and Lordstown for 44 years, retiring in 2004. He volunteered for the draft and served in the U.S. Army in France and Germany.
Mrs. Meyers worked for Emill Szabo Hairdressers for 35 years.
The couple enjoy traveling and have visited all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and several countries in Europe.
