BRIMFIELD - Anne Elizabeth Brown, 87, of Brimfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Robinson Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
She was born March 13, 1925, in New Milford, the daughter of Gaetano and Rose Scavariello Esposito.
She was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Townley of Niles, Susan Rohner of Akron and Denise Haney of Ravenna; a son, Douglas Paul Brown of Brimfield; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Marion Esposito of Ravenna and Joseph Esposito of Cambridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Douglas Brown, four brothers and a sister.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter of the Fields Church, where friends may call one prior to the service.
Burial will follow at St. Peter of the Fields Church Cemetery.
