LORDSTOWN HOLDS TREE LIGHTING: Lordstown village will hold a tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. today at the township park by the fire station off Salt Springs Road.

VALLEY COUNSELING HOLDS FOOD DRIVE: Valley Counseling Services held a food drive for Thanksgiving. Employees of the community mental health agency set out to collect donations from the community to supply at least 150 individuals with a turkey and other necessities so that they can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Contributions were collected by the case managers.
ARTIST GUEST AT GALLERY: An exhibit of the artwork of artist, professor and author Al Bright will appear today at the Art Outreach Gallery, Eastwood Mall, Niles. Also featured will be the work of more than 40 of Bright's students The exhibition will be open through Jan. 6. An opening artist's reception is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 2. Artwork by students from Niles McKinley high and junior high schools will also be on display in the gallery which has moved to a new location across the hallway from the previous location next to Express.
