ST. E'S UNVEILS NEW LAB: St. Elizabeth Health Center will unveil its new cardiovascular lab following a blessing ceremony at noon, today.

Tours of the cardiovascular lab will be available immediately following the blessing so visitors can see the newest technology.

The blessing and tour are free and open to the public. Those attending should enter through the hospital's main lobby off Park Avenue and ask to be directed to the cardiovascular lab on 3 South Extension.

CHIROPRACTORS HOST FOOD DRIVE: Dr. Bryan Cecil, owner of DC Chiropractic, 1219 Niles Cortland Road S.E., Warren, and Dr. Jim Mussler, owner of WellnessOne of Boardman, 843 Boardman Canfield Road, Boardman, are accepting donations of nonperishable food until Thanksgiving. The doctors have agreed to offer free exams, X-rays and consultations to all who donate.

ASSOCIATES OFFER FREE FOOT SCREENING: November is American Diabetes Month, and the Austintown Podiatry Associates of Drs. Karlock, Flauto, Arters are offering free diabetic foot screening in all office locations. The screening will include a vascular (circulation) and neurological (nerve) exam.

ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS: The Alzheimer's Association will be holding its monthly Caregiver Support Groups on the following dates:

Wednesday: 10 a.m. at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, 1350 E. Market St., Conference Room F, Warren.

BOARD OF HEALTH TO MEET: The regular meeting of the Girard City Board of Health will be at 7 p.m. today in Council Chambers, upstairs of the City Building.

IMMUNIZATION CLINIC OFFERED: The Niles City Health Department will hold an immunization clinic from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. No appointment necessary. Child immunization records are required and Medicaid cards are accepted. Children younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

GIRARD OFFERS FLU SHOT: The Girard City Health Department will offer flu vaccines between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursday, by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the health department at 330-545-6048.

FLU CLINIC TO BE HELD: A flu clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. daily at Warren West Community Health Center, 716 Tod Ave., Warren. Walk-ins are welcome. For more information, call 330-373-0222.

PROGRAM OFFERED FOR DEALING WITH ISSUES: An eight-step Christian program based on the Beatitudes is open to anyone dealing with a life-controlling habit or issue. It meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays at the Bloomfield Recovery Center, 10113 Creaser Ashtabula Road, Bloomfield.
