Randall R. Snyder, 1935-2012

NEWTON FALLS - Randall R. Snyder, 76, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, with his loving family at his side.

Randall was born Dec. 24, 1935, in Stouts Mills, W.Va., the son of Arden C. and Daisy Pritt Snyder.

He was a graduate of Sand Fork High School and was a U.S. Army paratrooper.

He resided in this area since 1958. Randall was employed as a general foreman for Chrysler Stamping in Twinsburg.

Randall was a member of General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls, where he was a deacon.

Randall and Mary Ellen Shelton were united into marriage June 30, 1961, and from this union they had four children, Ted, Vickie, Vanessa and Tim.

Cherished memories of Randall will be carried on by his wife, Mary Ellen Snyder of Newton Falls; daughters, Vickie (Mark) Brown and Vanessa Dickriede, both of Newton Falls; sons, Ted (Ann) Snyder of Newton Falls and Tim (Salina) Snyder of Bristolville; grandchildren, Cory Snyder, Allison Snyder, Seth Dickriede, Brooklyn Dickriede, Diane Hites, Mark Brown Jr., Carl Brown and Jennifer Carter; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Calvajean Marshall; and a brother, James Michael.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls, where services will follow the calling hour with Pastor Mitchel D. Meadors officiating.

Randall will be laid to rest in Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Champion.

Arrangements were handled by Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.

The family wishes that contributions take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514.
