CHIROPRACTIC SOCIETY OFFERS 'CARING FOR CAREGIVERS' SEMINAR: To commemorate National Family Caregivers Month this November, the Eastern Ohio Chiropractic Society is offering the "Caring for Caregivers Seminar" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Lake Vista of Cortland, 303 North Mecca St., Cortland.
The seminar is free and will be held in the Lake Vista club house. EOCS chiropractors will demonstrate simple lifting and transportation techniques, answer questions about preventing repetitive motion injuries, and recommend non-invasive measures for treating the acute, chronic, or episodic muscle pain that often results from daily caregiving.

OSTOMY GROUP TO MEET: Elaine Pearce, a dietitian at St. Elizabeth Health Center, will be the featured speaker of the Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group at their meeting 6:30 p.m. today at the HM Home Care office, 979 Tibbetts Wick Road, Girard.
The group provides an opportunity for ostomy patients and their families and friends to network while receiving ongoing education and information. Ostomies are surgically created openings that provide for the elimination of wastes from the body.

IMMUNIZATION CLINIC OFFERED: The well-child immunization clinic will be held Wednesday in the Girard Health Department, located in the City Building.
