Opritza-Miller

Kara Lynn Opritza and Corey Edward Miller were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held May 19, 2012, at Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church in Warren. The Very Rev. James Barkett officiated at the ceremony.

A reception at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Center in Boardman followed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Connie Opritza of Canfield, formerly of Howland. The groom is the son of Chuck and Cherie Miller of Sandusky.

Asha Kumar attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erika Opritza, sister-in-law of the bride; Diana Musial, cousin of the bride; and Kaleah Horton, cousin of the groom. The bride's nieces, Olivia, Natalie and Sophia Opritza, were flower girls.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Chris Miller. Groomsmen were Jason Opritza, the bride's brother, and Ian Leister and Jeff Dugai, friends of the groom.

The new Mrs. Miller received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Dayton. She is employed as a regulatory specialist for the Wercs Ltd. in Knoxville, Tenn.

Mr. Miller received a bachelor's degree in psychology and philosophy from the University of Toledo and a master's degree in social science administration from Case Western Reserve University. He is a federal probation officer for the U.S. District Court in Knoxville.

Following a honeymoon trip to Sandals Montego Bay Jamaica Resort, the couple reside in Knoxville.
