DEAR EDITOR:
This year marked the first year my wife and I decided not to vote. Election after election, we get one bad egg after another, regardless of their party.
This one was no different. On one hand we had a guy who supposedly wants to make health care mandatory, forcing many small businesses to suffer and / or close.
On the other hand, we had a guy who supposedly makes money from closing and selling off businesses and putting thousands of people out of work.
Now I'm sure, as always, commenters will toss in some pointless political spin on the matter, but the fact is I'm not politically motivated and I never have been. I just want somebody, anybody, to step up and get this country in decent shape again.
I want this not just for the privileged few, but for everyone who calls the United States home. As for 2012, I'm making a mental vote of ''no confidence'' across the board. Time will prove me right.
