The engagement and upcoming marriage of Laura Marie Kalman and Robert Adam Lumpkin are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kalman of Howland. Parents of the groom-elect are Bob and Pat Lumpkin, also of Howland.
Miss Kalman is a graduate of Howland High School, holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Toledo and a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is employed as the director of the Goddard School located in Macedonia.
Also a Howland High School graduate, Mr. Lumpkin received his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Toledo and his master's in counseling and higher education administration. He is employed at Baldwin Wallace University as a career counselor.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held on Nov. 10, 2012, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. Invitations will be issued for the reception.
