Jim and Robin Ruschman of McDonald celebrated their 50th anniversary in July at Drake's Landing in Canfield.
The event was hosted by the couple's two children, Jim (Lisa) Ruschman Jr. of Mentor and Terri (Bert) Cregg of Dewitt, Mich. They also have three grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Mr. Ruschman and the former Robin Green were married July 7, 1962, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McDonald.

Mrs. Ruschman had been employed as a hairdresser at Blackstone Funeral Home. She was a yoga instructor and worked as presiding judge at elections, was a member of McDonald Literary Guild and was a liturgist for OLPH and former member of Parish Council.
Mr. Ruschman was local representative for Otis Elevator for 42 years before retiring. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and a precinct committeeman for the Democratic Party in McDonald.
They renewed their marriage vows at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown on June 24, 2012, and have returned from Litchfield by the Sea in South Carolina for an anniversary trip.
