NARFE 2122 TO MEET: The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 2122 will meet Tuesday at the 910th Air Force Reserve Base off King Graves Road in the Community Activity Center, Building 113. Participants will have lunch on their own from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the meeting at 1 p.m.

President Jean Parke is requesting as many members as possible attend. The outcome of the chapter may be decided at that time.

PERI TO MEET: PERI members will hold their monthly meeting Wednesday at DiLucia's Banquet Center on Elm Road, Warren. Health at Home will be the topic of discussion.

SOAR 2243 TO MEET: The retirees of Local 2243 USWA Copperweld Steel Co. (SOAR Chapter 1-28-10) will hold their regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Local 1375 Union hall, 684 N. Park Ave., Warren. Guest speaker will be Guido Jannetti, representative of the Mahoning Valley American Red Cross. Refreshments will be served.

The TRUMBULL COUNTY NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR THE ELDERLY is provided by the Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs and operates nutrition sites at 11 locations throughout Trumbull County. These sites provide a meal and the opportunity for socialization. Donations will be accepted.

Any senior citizen 60 and older and his or her spouse are welcome for lunch at any of the following sites:

FOWLER-VIENNA SENIOR CITIZENS: The group meets 9:30 a.m. or later every Thursday at the Fowler Community Center to play cards and games, to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and for a 50-50 raffle and meals. Special meals are served on the fourth Thursday of the month. Cost is $3 each. All those 55 or older are welcome. Annual dues are $12.

LORDSTOWN SCOPE

THE KINSMAN SENIOR CITIZEN NUTRITION SITE is open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to seniors 60 or older or their spouses. Meals are served about noon at the Kinsman Fire Hall and donations are accepted. Doors open at 10 a.m. For information on meals, call site manager Dollie Davis at 330-876-5123.

Cards and bingo are played every day and singing is on Wednesdays. To attend, call Davis two days prior.

JOHNSTON SENIOR CENTER

Jessica Wilson will attend lunch at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 19. She will speak about medical alert systems. Cost for lunch is $3.

Brenda Cook from Humility of Mary will be at the breakfast at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 22. She will give flu shots.

Ocktoberfest includes a yard sale in the parking lot from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the center. Donations are being accepted today and Monday for the sale. Mark asking prices on articles being donated for the sale. Entertainment by John Ruman. Polka music and sandwiches. Cost is $3.50 for members, $4 for nonmembers. No early birds. Knit and crochet class: 10 a.m. to noon Mondays. Bring yarn, needles and other materials needed. Class is free and open to members.

COUNTRY NEIGHBOR: Country Neighbor Community Center, 39 S. Maple St., Orwell, is offering the following programs. For reservations or information, call Diana Ristimaki, program coordinator, at 440-437-6311.
