Mullets, I don't think that we will ever get an answer to that. I also think there is a lot that the police and the administration are not telling us.

@ BeerSlavery, I am a WORKING WGH parent. This isn't about who works, who don't work, who collects welfare, or who collects a paycheck. Its about raising your children right and not be thug trash. I agree that cancelling Fridays game was a good idea if they had reasons to do it. I don't agree that the city is keeping everything tight lipped and not sharing what is really going on. As a parent I want to know my child is safe going to school, or school functions. As a parent I should have that right!! As I said in an earlier post the Seniors lost their last night in Mollenkopf due to thug trash!! It was not fair to them! I did sign the petition going around, they do deserve one more night in that stadium!

I think the mayor and superintendent made a tough decision, glad our kids are safe. I don't want to take any chances when it comes to our childrens' safety. You can hold your heads high.

There is no taking the city back, the city ain't went nowhere. There was 2 shootings and one of them justified. Anything else other than that was fear mongering, social media and paranoia.

You people act like some typhoon of thug activity has took place. Get back to basics of what ACTUALLY happened. An accidental shooting, a random car jacking homicide and lots of idiots on social media hyping the climate with fear. And a knee jerk reaction from the Mayor and school Superintendent.

Other than two incidents this has been a normal week. It ain't the thugs its you people doing this to yourselves. No reason to cancel a game, no reason to keep this going other than boredom and want something to talk about or reason to remain anti-African American.

If we truly want our city back, Sent the Justice Department back to DC were cleaning really needs to be done. Then let the WPD take it back and deliver the city to the Great People of Warren. You have to let them fight this type of infiltration in a way that works. Outside influences like Dirtroit and other Slime need to be sealed off from spreading their corruption here.

The threat is over, go back to your racial bickering. No need for conferences and fear.

Talk, talk, talk - and no action except to cancel a football game. Take action and take these low life ghetto snipes once and for all.

Linerty-- you're in the minoity.. Most wgh parents care more about their obama phones and gov't assistance.. Maybe that's why the people in warren are tearing the city apart.. People that are handed their income

Liberty3, Your spot on. Either decision would be unpopular so they chose the one that would keep officers, students, and the good people of warren the safest.

I can promise you that to cancel the Harding game was a hard decision to make. If this decison wasn't made and something terrible had happened "some" would be the first to complain about that decision too. To keep our students and community safe should be understood. I am a parent and my childs well being is number one. I am hoping something special is done to give the seniors the time to embrace their team, cheer squad, band and who ever was disappointed by the decision.Good leaders make hard decisions..
