Teach those liars a lesson--just get rid of the program. Pull yourselves up by your own bootstraps. Who needs these "giveaway" programs anyhow? It's all a form of "control" and a scam for those devious lawyers!

Mr Heller makes his living representing people who apply for such benefits. There will always be those who will lie to get benefits they do not need.

From the recent NPR story, 'Unfit for Work': "In the past three decades, the number of Americans who are on disability has skyrocketed. The rise has come even as medical advances have allowed many more people to remain on the job, and new laws have banned workplace discrimination against the disabled."

MR. Heller, are you telling us that there are over 8 million Americans with disabilities so "severe" that they can't even do light, sedentary jobs like call center, cashiering, or clerical work?

It seems that those who warned us that the safety net would soon become a hammock, were right.
