You should of seen the little 4-H kids on the first 2 days of the fair they made the most of it and played in the mud, slipping and sliding and having a good time...and the big kids play mud football usually....Generally it has rained 90% of the fairs in the last 40 years. It rained every year I was in 4-H...Stop complaining or you'll sound like you know who and all their alter egos.

Gotta agree with you there MsSmith, it's as easy as wearing your mud boots or worse shoes and go enjoy!

We walked to the flood zone in Levittsburg just for the fun of slushing as close as possible to the river. A bit sad to see the flooded properties though...

Always amazed I never let a little mud ruin my day. The fair is a tradition I don't miss.

Warren proud you act like it is such a bad thing to get muddy a little mud never hurt anyone. The kids that do 4h are learning valuable lessons in life like hard work, team work and responsibility. You do nothing but bash people get off your high horse and stop looking down upon people who go to the fair and support 4H.

Want a little mud with that shake. Friends who made the mistake of going to the fair tell me it's a mud pit out at the fair and they were sorry they went.
