Senator -just because Congress passed it and the Supreme Court gave it their "stamp of approval", it doesn't make it a good deal for America. Already, just today, reports say that the implementation is way, somewhere around 6 months, behind. Add that to the ever-increasing realization that costs will be far more than originally touted and we have what some are calling a "train wreck". Finally, members of Congress and health care providers openly admit they have no idea what the Bill entails.

"But this administration has proven itself to be among the most power-hungry in history." Are you kidding me? Let's see what the US Chamber of Commerce has to say on the subject: "To secure new market-opening trade agreements, Congress must renew the traditional trade negotiating authority that every president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt has enjoyed. Sometimes called “trade promotion authority” or “fast track,” this trade negotiating authority gives the United States a seat at the table in international trade negotiations". There is no question that Congress may regulate international commerce under the Constitution. But there is also no question that the President can negotiate with foreign nations under the Constitution. Brown's reasons for opposition are certainly not the same as the editorial. For heaven's sake, give it up on healthcare! Congress passed it, the Supreme Court gave its stamp of approval.

There were valid reasons for the three branches of government to serve as checks and balances.

No one person should be able to commit America to trade agreements without congressional oversight and approval.

Fast track authority - NO! These trade pacts have cost America millions of good paying manufacturing jobs. On this one - President Obama is WRONG!
