Tyranny both at home and afar

May 31, 2013

Earlier this month President Obama told graduates at The Ohio State University that they should not listen to the voices that warn of tyranny in our country....

Lawlessness by thise who hold power is tyranny otherwise its just anarchy. These criminals in dc dont even follow their own laws. It is illegal under the ndaa bill to support a terrorist org but we arr doing that again in syria with al qeada. You could literally prosecute the entire house and senate on ethics violations but when your abive the law you can get away with murder like the clintons.

sleddogs If Biden wrote it in 1995 he was a decade late as Ollie North already had The Readiness Exercise 1984, a.k.a. Rex 84. It outlines continuity of government wherein the US Constitution is suspended, martial law is declared and the US military command take over state and local governments in order to ensure stabilization of our nation at any cost. Any American who is deemed a “national security threat” would be detained in an interment or FEMA camp. The author of Rex 84 was Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, National Security Council (NSC) White House aids and NSC liaison to FEMA.

You mean the Patriot Act that Joe Biden drafted the core of in 1995?

So making sure people have health insurance so the rest of us don't have to pay their bills is tyranny. Where was Martha when GW gave us the Patriot Act, torture, a lie to go to war and Gitmo where inmates sit for years with no hearings? Where was Martha when Reagan supported and trained Latin American dictator's death squads? Reagan was responsible for helping these dictators kill between 200,000 -300,000 people. Oooops Martha quotes Reagan the GOP god on freedom. Ask the 100's of thousands in mass graves about Reagan's "freedom." Maybe I'm wrong and Yoder's piece was a satire.

Tyranny huh? Kind of gives a kinder and more gentle rendition of the likes of Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin, Amin etc. If this author TRULY feels tyrannized when she wakes up each morning in this great country, she needs to go on medication. This isn't "thinking" at all. It's demagoguery pure and simple. With the loss of the Tea Party Queen, Michele Bachmann, I see Trumbull County has its replacement nominee. Sorry, any "thinking person" knows that tyranny and self-governance are mutually exclusive. The true message here is SOUR GRAPES.

The citizens can have special "get out the vote", to smote the latest offering of politicians.

Do this for a couple of rounds of elections and even the "unopposed", candidates will begin feeling the heat of the peoples' power.

I know this is someone "pie in the sky", but the citizenry cannot afford to go back to Kings, Queens, Dukes, Counts and Earls, which is where we've definately headed... by another name.

We can no longer be servents to our political overseers, cowering in fear of our elected officials.

Marie Antionette supposedly said "let them eat cake", I think todays Kings and Queens are saying something more akin to "let them eat sh*t."

Don't worry about your favorite politician, cause this is not about the individual politician . . . it's nothing "personal" . . . it's "business", and the business is to take back the power of the people through what might be the last peaceful way.

Even though the majority of politicians run unopposed, often through all the elections, there's still a way.

REGISTER and VOTE

Register . . . show up at the polls and vote all incumbants out...regardless. Then place no vote for a official running unopposed.

Soon the candidates who sit, scared, in the shadows, will emerge when they see that 20,000(instead of 10,000), voters voted. BUT not for unopposed candidates.

They will see that open season has been declared on incumbents and that the citizens seem to mean business.

Every election, do the same thing until the politicians get the message.

Actually, this could be fun and a source of entertainment to a frustrated voting populous . . . a sort of "vote out", on the line of a sitdown strike.

The people still have the power of the ballot, which must be used in any capacity it can be used.

Not to do so, will mean that if the masses do finally reach their breaking point with this tyranny . . . the fight will be more intense and I fear could involve loss of life.

Citizens need to put politicians in fear of the citizens . . . this government was set up such that we(citizens), "own", them(the politicians. They hold their offices to do our bidding. Not the other way around.
