Now the families all look like greedy ungrateful pigs because they believed if the extra money was going into anyone's pocket it should be theirs. See MsSmith you had false information fed to the media by Bob Dean in order to focus attention away from the rumor that the money for goods & services that were actually donated were kicked back to Bob Dean and split among the Funeral home, Clergy, etc... How do you pay 1,000's for caskets, plots & services donated free? Common sense dictates Dean & others lied about cost and kept the money. That is my opinion, what the evidence seems to show, and what I am told by an insider for the families. It was never about the families being ungrateful & greedy, it was about them finding out money was being split up and felt grieving families had as much claim to it as Bob Dean and the folks who donated their time, goods & services. Say NO to Bob Dean and career Politicians, it's time for them to leave!

I had not made up my mind on which candidate i preferred.Jim Graham or Bob Dean. The TRIB has helped me make my decision, and I would like to thank them. The Editorial staff(trib owners and Frank) hate all things union, yet they are doing all they can to promote Jim G. for council pres.Something smells worse than an ONION to me.I will vote for Mr.Dean.He tried to perform a good deed with the raised money, and gets slammed for it.Remember Bob.."no good deed goes un-punished"...I am Horatio, and I approve this message.

Warren proud I have said it once and I will say it again. That extra money is fine where it is at. I am glad that money is in a fund for a futer accident. Those families to do not deserve any of that money. It would be different if they personally donated money to it. The people who donated did not even get so much as a thank you from the families. Bob Dean did not have to do anything for those families. Looking back on it now and how they are acting I wish he wouldn't have done anything for them. They don't deserve the kindness the way they are acting.

How Council Can Solve a Problem like Sunshine, Mr. I and WRAP.

Use their office as a platform to let people know how ineffectual and dysfunctional these organizations are.

Cut the funding... Whatever oversight they have on funding either of these organizations, use that to cut, cut, cut!

IF WRAP had a working board, and they do not, it would be up to the board to fire the director.

Best Council could do is cancel the contract with WRAP, which can be done with 30 days notice...According to the 2011 contract.

And in Bob Dean's defense, about five or six years ago, he was actually publicly questioning WRAP and its purpose...Nothing came of it, but he put it out there to the press and council.

WP--the m o n e y is being s p e n t by the seven m i n i s t e r s who c o n t r o l the fund. And just HOW does Dean get rid of Iannucci? Send him a termination letter??? What part of the law director's statement does the Tribune not understand??? The State Auditor's Office can NOT issue a performance audit on Sunshine. It can't happen unless the legislature changes the law to authorize the expenditure of tax dollars to allow audits of private corporations. And this is a good idea??? Seek another remedy!

The reasons are many why Jim Graham is NOT the right person for the job of President of Council.

1. He has ZERO political experience. 2. He has ZERO business experience. 3. He has ZERO experience enticing business to want to be in Warren. Quite the contrary! 4. He has ZERO image to attract REAL business leaders to help Warren. 6. He displayed ZERO respect for the Delphi retirees (fellow citizens of Warren) when he himself vowed to assist them in their plight, then the hypocrite did NOTHING.

Say NO to Graham in May! His image is NOT what Warren needs!

Wonder why it takes candidate Graham to say what everyone in Warren knows, Iannucci should be replaced. Dean should have gotten rid of this guy long ago but has not because he's in bed with all the corruption & wasteful spending going on in Warren...

WRAP is not a private FOUNDATION. I guess I should quote the IRS properly.

No more pathetic than this constant drum beat, Delphi.

Do you have any idea what is going on with WRAP and Sunshine? Do you?

And I have in my hot little hands a letter from the IRS telling WRAP they are NOT a private corporation.

Unless they have changed their "sources of support, purposes, character or method of operation..."

WRAP is not a private corporation.

Onion to the Tribune for deceptively promoting Jim Graham. Grahm,a isn't even in ANY position in Warren politics, and the Tribune gives him an orchid for opening his mouth. How pathetic!!

IF an organization accepts TAX PAYER monies, they must disclose where and how those monies are being spent! It seems that Mr. Hicks likes to make up law as he goes along. What are Mr. Hicks and the city of Warren trying to hide this time?

I wish organizations in Warren would not describe themselves with using Trumbull in their names. It implies that the Townships are associated with their scams!

Ohio Revised Code 149.431 deems WRAP and Sunshine's records to be public based on the nature of their (government) funding. Onions around for everyone trying to keep that information private.

ONION: To Bob Dean for not releasing the records on how the $61,000 he collected for the funerals was spent. He owes all the contributors that accounting.
