You had better look into the actual statements made by your beloved Lincoln and don't take watching a movie about Lincoln as historically accurate.
Abraham Lincoln was a fervent White supremacist (good thing) who used the Emancipation Proclamation as a tool of war.
Please please educate yourself.

mylackcommonsense; white history is taught and praised upon everyday. Does it really hurt you to recognize a people that have overcome, persevered and succeeded despite ignorance such as yours for one month a year.

I love black history month. It is an excellent time to reflect on your ancestry, and the trials and tribulations they endured during the flight from slavery to freedom. God bless Abe Lincoln for what he did for the black people in this country.
