Woman who killed family up for parole

For what it's worth Bren, we believe also that she should not be paroled. she was sentenced to 2 life terms. She should only be up for parole after her 1st life has been served. I am so sorry for your loss and may peace be with you and the family.

I regret posting my last comment. I got sucked into debating an issue that was decided long ago by the court and court of appeals. This upcoming hearing is not to decide if she is guilty, (we've established that) only to determine if should get parole. I say no. Twenty years is nothing considering the horrifying crimes she committed.

To Delgros, I am part of the family of which you speak. We hate what Judy did, not necessarily Judy herself. Whether or not her son recanted his story does not change the fact that my uncle was stabbed several times and by Judy's own statements, it would not have been possible for someone to do this under the circumstances. (Unless it was her since no one else present.) It doesn't change the fact that she sat in my brother's home and waited while others tried to save her own two sons. No other circumstance can explain the blood or the ear found outside the house. It doesn't change the fact that although Judy said the furnace exploded, it never did explode. The son's testimony was proven by forensics. This was a slamdunk. I am truly sorry for the heartache this has caused your own family. My uncle was a hero for the loving person he was but he didn't die a hero. He had already been murdered and had no chance to save anyone else. Parole or not, Judy will one day answer to a higher court

So many of you people who have read this article and condemn Mrs. Delgros base on what is in it do not have the full story. How many of you know that her recanted his story and admitted that it was a lie? Do you know that there was no evidence of any sort that could place responsibility on any one? Do you know that whatever evidence that may have ever existed was destroyed by the sheriff's department, the district attorney, and the pathologist hired by the district attorney. There was not word of direct testimony given at that (trial?). Donald Morris died a hero, but his family, because of their disapproval of how he chose to live his life, and their hatred of the woman he chose to marry took that away from him

There is no reason this woman should ever be released. Her own son testified against her, the evidence was overwhelming, and there has been no sign of remorse from the convict. Trumbull County did well in putting her behind bars and they should keep her locked up. The one person who should be sitting there with her is the coroner who failed to do autopsies with the full knowledge that the fire was arson and that an ear had been sliced off of one of the victims prior to the fire. This was murder plain and simple and it should not have taken 15 years to bring it to court in the first place.
