Dos, I've tried to be as civil to you as I can.

You attack every single cranny you can find of what has been said (sometimes incompletely) by folks who don't earn a living writing on blogs, or what most sensible people dust off as an opinion trying to be made within the limitations of the software this website provides.

When you meet resistance to your trains of thought, you devise clever traps to ensnare the unwary or gullible.

When that fails you resort to immature attacks on your fabricated sense of someones character, or your perceived mental function of your prey. It's all in your mind Dos. You see enemies where there are none.

I am not your enemy if you leave me be in peace.

Look over that which interests you, overlook that which does not. But be careful not to miss anything important. ;-)

"Anarcho Capitalist" has nothing to do with the lack of law and order, or the advocacy of confusion.

WOW, are you misinformed

Marmel, it doesn't

This is one of the weak points of the constitution that conservatives and liberals have abused for many many decades. Justice John Marshall (our second chief justice) was the first to effectively seize power of interpretation to the justices. "Judicial Review" has been the catchphrase most are familiar with.

He set a "precedent" that has remained unsuccessfully challenged for a ridiculously long time. Politicians pretend to gripe about it, but when their party is in power, it goes to the back of the priority list. What's important is how many positions will they be able to stack the deck with.

Dems love their current opportunity to completely change the landscape of what the constitution was intended to mean.

Sadly, Repubs are no different.

Agree Dos?

Um, were does it say the "supreme court shall interpret the constitution" The supreme court is supposed to uphold the constitution. I know liberals like to twist it to make their wacked out logic appear American and not unAmerican.

Dos, isn't the present state of confusion good enough for you? Do you prefer further slavery at the hands of our beloved politicians?

Do you imagine how wonderful it shall be when your flavor of slavery becomes the new normal?

I want to live in a voluntary society of intelligent people who are capable of compassion without coercion. Free of you, and free of everyone who believes their calling in life is to tell others how to live theirs.

I am not alone. Slowly but surely, folks are coming together that have much in common, that outweigh the differences that should be left to individual choice.

Don't we have enough chaos already?

Hate can't see the forest from the trees. Hate is subservient to government. Hate thinks of himself as less of a person than politicians. I thought slavery ended?

Is there no connection here?

"The house of representatives...can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as the great mass of society. This has always been deemed one of the strongest bonds by which human policy can connect the rulers and the people together. It creates between them that communion of interest, and sympathy of sentiments, of which few governments have furnished examples; but without which every government degenerates into tyranny."

James Madison, Federalist No. 57, February 19, 1788

LOL oh he's our "leader" and him and congress can do as they please.

do as I say and not as I do.

Your right Anarcho. I also like the article says "helped inflate" the housing bubble. LOL! It CREATED the housing bubble. Liberal spin is halarious. For the last 4 years they have all said that it had nothing to do with, it was tax cuts! Now it helped it!

Dos, go back to Nazi youth camp would ya! You act like we can’t see through your propaganda. Looking at the constitution, declaration of Ind., Bill of rights etc. and interpreting every clause and sentence as static and independent from the rest of the documents and laws of the time is dishonest. Judges do not have soul interpretation powers. Even though it seems the case, which is way liberals love becoming judges, the balance of power is equal. Did you forget the constitution also says that? All the documents together form a context DOS. Do you understand Context. The meaning is based on the entire set of documents. Liberals have done a good job manipulating it to what they want the same way you do it here.
